Anushay Hussain

A highly experienced Speech-Language Pathologist with over 9 years of clinical experience working with children across a wide range of communication and developmental needs. She holds a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and has worked extensively with children with speech and language delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), feeding difficulties, articulation and phonological disorders, and social communication challenges.

Anushay founded ChatterPillar with a clear vision: to create a child-centered, evidence-based space where children are supported not just to speak, but to communicate confidently, meaningfully, and joyfully. Her approach combines strong clinical foundations with a deep respect for each child’s individual profile, strengths, and learning style.

She is known for her play-based yet structured therapy style, integrating modern best practices such as AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), parent coaching, neuro-affirming principles, and presuming competence. Anushay strongly believes that communication is not limited to verbal speech and works closely with families to build functional communication across home, school, and social environments.

In addition to direct therapy, Anushay is deeply involved in parent education, therapist mentoring, and interdisciplinary collaboration. She regularly supports families in understanding diagnoses, navigating intervention plans, and becoming confident partners in their child’s developmental journey.
